I'm a photographer, scientist, and long-distance hiker. By traveling solo and in small groups through remote backcountry areas, I strive to capture the quiet moments take give life breath. I have dedicated time in my life to hiking the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and South Island of the Te Araroa. During these walks, I carried my photography equipment. These photos spark memories that last a lifetime.
